Qualitative Data
To gather information on the participants underlying opinions and motivations that resulted from this workshop a couple of qualitative questions will be used. At the end of the workshop, participants will receive a few open-ended questions that provides the facilitator to understand their experiences from attending this workshop. This qualitative data will possibly uncover trends in thoughts as it relates to the use of comics or graphic novels in the classroom with the support of digital devices. Participant’s written responses from the open-end questions will be collected. The responses of the individual participants will be identified into subgroups will be coded. In addition, the open ended questions will also be collected for data coding, to look for trends in understanding, misconceptions, and other unanticipated factors.
