Assessment of participatory/collaborative learning
Participants have multiple opportunities to collaborate and participate in the activities provided during this workshop. The participatory culture that is fostered through the workshop is evident as every person has the opportunity to share skills, knowledge, and receives support. This culture is essential because it is essential to supporting learning; it provides the scaffolding that students and educators need to build onto creative. Assessment of the participatory learning environment is evident as groups design their own comic strip/graphic novel project, execute the design of them, and then assess their finished product as well assess their peers’ comic/graphic novel. During each stage of the workshop participants will be able to perform the tasks by individuals or by teams. This provides additional evidence that supports the participant learning process because during each activity participant will be able to read/observe everything their peers do so they can learn further from others’ efforts.
